I’m Penny Maurer of pmarie.creates — a freelance graphic designer, surface pattern designer, teacher, artist and creator residing in New Hampshire.

 

My work reflects my love and curiosity of the natural world — its simplicity and complex existence — inspiring the bit of whimsy, pinch of quirkiness and splash
of fun in my creations.

 

When I’m not in my studio I can often be found baking recipes from my grandmothers, tending my veggie garden, wandering in nature, creating my
latest quilt or spending time with my family at our cabin in the woods.

 

My pattern designs are often sketched, and rendered digitally.
